Three teenage students at a Catholic high school in Western Sydney have been injured following the collapse of a concrete balustrade, reports The Land and Sydney Morning Herald.

Paramedics were called to Nagle College at Blacktown about 1.10pm yesterday following reports a number of students had been injured. A NSW Ambulance spokesman said two girls have been taken to hospital at Westmead in a stable condition with minor injuries. A third patient was also treated for what are believed to be minor injuries.

The students were in different grades at the all girls' school - one in Year 12, one in Year 11 and one in Year 8.

A spokeswoman for the Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta confirmed the incident happened at lunchtime.
