Mary MacKillop Outreach

Special work

Mary MacKillop Outreach is a volunteer-based, disability support service, which assists people with mental illness and/or disabilities who live in Assisted Boarding Houses in Sydney’s Inner West.

Mary MacKillop Outreach (MMO) was established in 1992 as a ‘Special Work’ of the St Vincent de Paul Society, Sydney Archdiocesan Council.

It  offers pre-vocational skills training as well as recreational and educational programs for people living with a mental illness and/or disability, who reside in licensed boarding houses and group homes in Sydney’s Inner West.

The organisation relies on the work of volunteers. To read about the spirituality and works of this charity, as well as how to go about volunteering or supporting MMO, visit their website: HERE.
