The Augustinians have been in Australia since the 1830s. Their homepage contains news and information on the works and spirituality of this grand old Order.
The Augustinians are men working for Christ in a variety of ways. As a Religious Order, they have been in Australia since 1838. Today, the Order remains present in Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales, working in parishes, schools, hospitals, HIV/AIDS ministry, and the Augustinian Centre for Spirituality, at Greystanes in Sydney. The Province is also represented in South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.
In recent times, the Augustinians have placed renewed emphasis on social justice, on service of the Church in Asia-Pacific, and working with young people.
Their website contains the Augustinian Bulletin Board for current news relating to the order and lays out information on Augustinian communities around Australia, as well as their history and spirituality, and details on vocations and on getting involved as a lay-person.
