The Catholic Women's League is a voluntary women's organisation which aims to promote positive outcomes for women of today.

At the heart of CWL Sydney are the areas of social justice, family, bioethics, equal opportunity, reconciliation and charity while also providing a voice for Catholic women.

The League facilitates events and fundraising opportunities throughout the year whilst also providing a platform for informative speakers. The organisation addresses social and moral issues as well as promoting values and equality in the areas of health, education, economic and social welfare.

Catholic Women’s League Australia Inc is the National peak body with member organisations in all states and the ACT. The Sydney Archdiocese includes 17 parish branches as well as individual diocesan membership. 

Last year the organisation celebrated its centenary.
