ACU

This is the website of the Australian Catholic University (ACU), which is a public, not-for-profit university funded by the Australian Government, open to students and staff of all beliefs.

ACU has seven campuses around Australia and calls itself Australia's leading Catholic university, supported by more than 2,000 years of Catholic intellectual tradition.

As a member of the International Federation of Catholic Universities, it aims to devote itself to communicating truth in every field of knowledge through teaching and research, as well as promoting the dignity of all people and the common good.

ACU engages in the Catholic intellectual tradition where faith and reason are compatible in education, and knowledge is cultivated in an environment that fosters intellectual freedom, personal development and equity for all.

Its Catholic identity is animated through a campus-wide commitment to serving others, developing an active learning community and fostering a just society.
