Granville Holy Family School's own TV station

Federal Minister for School Education Peter Garrett launched the school’s own internet television station last month.

The Holy Family internet TV station initiative was developed using funding from the federal government's Smarter Schools National Partnerships, to help develop contemporary learning strategies for students and staff.

Technology teacher Tim Butt said since 2010 students at the school had been building their skills through drama and music programs, the Habits of the Mind program initiative, and other new collaborative learning processes.

"These three areas, and many other great opportunities, have enabled us to build oral language skills, creative thinking and problem solving strategies," he said.
