Opinion - Changing the last word

But these three Gospels show us that these are never the last word, the final word. Into each of these situations, where the last word seems clearly to have been spoken, comes a new word. Into each of these situations comes the Word, Jesus, the living Word, Word made flesh. In his presence, nothing else and no-one else has the last word. Dead ends become living starts; full stops become colons; last words open up into first words of new life. - Fr Robin Koning, Province Express
