Founded by St Vincent de Paul and St Louise de Marillac in 1633, the Daughters of Charity were established to seek and serve God in persons who are poor. They arrived in Australia in 1926 and maintain an active profile throughout the country with missions in aged care, working with the homeless and people with a disability. A simple but clear website with plenty of information about the order's history and links to other members of the worldwide Vincentian family.
