The Australian Pastoral Musicians Network (APMN) is a Not-for-Profit association of pastoral musicians involved in liturgical, catechetical and religious music.
In June 2007 more than thirty liturgists from around Australia gathered in Sydney to imagine and develop ideas about practical and viable initiatives for liturgical education and formation in Australia. One of the proposals arising was the establishment of a network for pastoral musicians.
In July 2009 a group of composers and musicians met in Sydney and resolved to work together to help make a national association a reality.
The Network website has information about workshops, discussion groups, and online resources.
