'Faith at Work' photo exhibition at St Marys

Faith at work

From May 17- June 7, the Catholic Commission for Employment Relations (CCER) will host a photographic exhibition in the Crypt of St Mary's Cathedral that will showcase 'Faith at Work' in Australia today.

FAITH AT WORK, exhibited as part of Sydney's Head On festival, is a collection of works from Australian photographer Oliver Strewe, depicting the varied works and ministries of the Catholic Church, and the people who facilitate them.

The exhibition is the culmination of a photographic essay, commissioned by CCER, which captures the range of Catholic work taking place throughout NSW and includes workplaces as diverse as Silverwater Women's Correctional Facility and the closed order of the Discalced Carmelite Nuns in Goonellabah.

The official launch will be held on the evening of Thursday May 22nd from 6pm-8pm.

Guests can register for the official launch here.
