Templeton Prize winner Msgr Professor Tomáš Halík, whose work focuses on the role of religion in the contemporary world, inter-religious dialogue, and the dialogue between believers and non-believers, will speak in Melbourne in July.

Professor Halík is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. In 2014 he was awarded the Templeton Prize and recently received an honorary doctorate from Oxford University. He is Professor at Charles University in Prague, parish priest of the Academic Parish in Prague, and president of the Czech Christian Academy.
