The National Centre for Evangelisation is seeking applications for the position of Mission Projects Officer. An agency of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, the mission of the NCE is twofold: 1. to assist the Catholic Church in Australia in the formation and resourcing of Catholics as they seek to live out their baptismal and confirmational call to proclaim their faith 2. to provide a quality response to enquiries about the Catholic faith from Catholics returning to the practice of their faith and from those currently not members of the Catholic Church.
The MPO supports the Director by: 1. Participating in the development, administration and implementation of evangelisation projects: including but not limited to resource provision, online and digital engagement, and preparation for conferences, workshops, seminars and retreats. 2. Assisting the Mission Coordinator in responding to enquirers on straightforward matters, and taking messages from enquirers on sensitive matters in the absence of the Mission Coordinator.

The successful applicant will have:
- Sound people skills and well-developed communication skills
- An understanding of and willingness to work within the Mission and Identity of the Catholic Church
- Demonstrated experience in the effective use of Microsoft Windows operating environments, Microsoft Office applications.
- A demonstrated willingness to train in other online tools and systems as required
- Strong organisational skills and experience in project delivery
- Professional manner and presentation
