Sancta Sophia College, a residential College within The University of Sydney, is home to undergraduate women and postgraduate men and women studying at universities in Sydney. Our location puts us at the heart of Sydney’s academic, cultural and sporting life.
The Marketing, Communications and Development Manager is a key role in the organisation’s Management Team and is responsible for managing College publications and brand; marketing and profiling the College to prospective students; updating the website, Facebook and other social media; and managing fundraising events, relationships with donors, fundraising appeals and bequests.
We are looking for an inspiring, well organised and experienced professional, with generalist marketing, communication and fundraising skills. You will be looking for a new challenge and can bring energy and ideas to our growing organisation. You should have excellent relationship-building and communication skills and be committed to high quality outcomes.
Sancta Sophia College offers a dynamic and interesting workplace environment. Some domestic regional travel and opportunity for international travel; occasional evening/weekend work is required.
Successful applicants would possess:
- Marketing qualifications and/or relevant experience
- Demonstrated fundraising ability
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
- Leadership and entrepreneurialism
- Ability to work at all levels
- Current drivers’ license
