Principal, Iona College, Brisbane, QLD

  • Catholic independent boys school
  • Brisbane, QLD
  • Newly created role
  • Commence January 2019

Established in 1957, Iona College is an independent Catholic boys school, owned and administered by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. It is located in the Brisbane bayside suburb of Lindum and caters for approx. 1,600 students from Years 5 to 12.

Iona College Ltd was established in 2007 by the Oblates to assume responsibility for governance of the College. The College Board is accountable to the Oblates for the effective operation of the College, faithful to the Oblation mission and tradition.

As a result of a recent strategic review the Oblates determined that their mission and tradition as well as the College strategic plan would be better served by a restructure of the College leadership team. This is a newly created role reporting to the College Rector with the key responsibilities of leading teaching and learning and management of the College.

We encourage Catholic educational leaders to visit for information, including a video; and learn how to easily progress an interest in this role. Expressions of interest are also welcome from this website; to John Chesher on 0417 068 220; or by providing a brief resume to [email protected] quoting reference no. TS1386.

Closing Date: Wednesday 29th August 2018.
