The Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea through the Board of Mercy Education Limited invites applications from appropriately qualified and experienced educators for the position of Principal, commencing January 2019 or on a date to be negotiated.
Established in 1889, Sacred Heart College is a Catholic co-educational College with an enrolment of 801 students from Years 7 to 12. The College is one of twelve schools owned by the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea and governed by Mercy Education.
The Board of Mercy Education seeks to appoint a Principal who will inspire the Sacred Heart College community and lead collaboratively with vision, passion, courage and creativity in the tradition of the Sisters of Mercy. The position offers an exciting opportunity to advance best practice and innovation in a school that values excellence in the education of its students.
