The Council of Catholic School Parents NSW/ACT (CCSP) provides leadership, advocacy and support to all parents of students in Catholic schools in the Province of Sydney and the Archdioceses of Canberra and Goulburn.
The Executive Director is the chief officer of the CCSP and represents the interests of Catholic school parents at a State level. The Executive Director is a key leadership and strategic role. The Executive Director is accountable to the Chairperson of the CCSP and reports to the State Council on a regular basis. The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the CCSP for the purpose of achieving and fulfilling the aims of the organisation. The Executive Director is responsible for achieving the goals and objectives of the organisation as set out by the Management Committee and liaising with all stakeholders including government, media and education.
At the personal level, the appointee will have a firm commitment to the ethos of the Catholic Church. They will be a demonstrated leading educator or administrator with a focus on collaborative leadership and integrity. They must have the ability to influence outcomes and possess high level negotiation skills. They will possess appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or professional experience in education or other relevant disciplines.
