Ministry Team - Drama/Performing Arts Position - GPBS (Gather Proclaim Break Send), Various parishes and schools over Australia

Position Description (PDF)

  • Flexible work arrangements
  • Small and established team environment
  • Well suited to a creative and engaging person

GPBS (Gather Proclaim Break Send) connects faith, liturgy and life for the Catholic community and produces resources around these four key components. Our creative team facilitates retreats, workshops, conferences, staff development, student leadership formation, and evangelisation programs in Catholic primary and secondary schools around Australia. As part of our growth and development, we now have a unique position available for a Drama and Performing Arts person on a part-time or casual basis.

The successful person will have a flare for the creative and performing arts and ideally with some experience across drama, storytelling, mime, playback theatre and circus/clowning that will naturally complement our dynamic team. We’re looking for a likeminded person who enjoys having fun, a good laugh and can engage others in the process.

How would you like to join an experienced team who are passionate about engaging students and staff in Catholic schools through forming a deeper connection and commitment to participate in the life of the Church? We achieve this through prayer and service.

Team work is key, and you will be willing to walk with young people as missionary disciples in the world. As the work is on a part-time/casual basis, we expect it may suit those with flexible work or study schedules. Due to the transient nature of the work, your home base can be effectively anywhere within the country.

Applications can be emailed directly to [email protected]
