Seton Villa (Disability Services): Director Vacancies
The Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul opened Seton Villa (SV) on 23 August 1966. The Daughters of Charity are a world-wide community of women who seek and serve God and persons who are poor and marginalized, in a spirit of humility, simplicity and charity. The Daughters of Charity are inspired by the values and spirit of St Vincent de Paul and St Louise de Marillac.
SV strives to be a caring ‘home-away-from-home’. SV’s vision is to provide quality, person- centred support, in homes and through day services on behalf of the Daughters of Charity.
Seton Villa offers services to people (currently only women) with intellectual disability. Our major work is through 7 Group Homes, providing the opportunity for people with intellectual disability to live as independently as possible with the support of friendly trained staff.
SV is currently in a dynamic and evolutionary phase in its history. Over the next 3 to 4 years SV will be redeveloping all our housing stock to contemporary standards. In 2019 we are also developing and embarking on a new strategic plan to expand and renew our services in accordance with our mission.
