Ursula Rakova is Executive Director of Tulele Peisa ("Sailing the Waves On Our Own"). She comes from the Carteret Islands, a small Pacific group whose population of about 2500 are among the world's first climate refugees.
Most have relocated to Bougainville, in a story that may well repeat itself around the Pacific.
Ursula is on a speaking tour of Australia, sponsored by Caritas, in partnership with environmental group Friends of the Earth, to spread the message about the challenges facing her people.
She has been speaking on climate change-induced relocation at a series of events in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and talks to Andrew West about the issue of climate change inundation and its repercussions for other Pacific island countries.
This program has been broadcast but is available for downloading and podcast on the ABC website.
