Resources to help you pray at home

(Bigstock)

CathNews is today introducing a regular feature on resources to support people’s prayer and spiritual lives during a time when public Masses are suspended.

Today’s featured resource is a page on the website of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, the publisher of CathNews. In fact, the Conference has established two pages: one with prayer and Scripture resources, as well as links to online Masses; the other with updates from bishops, dioceses and governments.

The Pray at Home page will have new resources each Sunday – and during the Easter Triduum – to invite people to proclaim and reflect on the Scripture of the day, to use the Prayers of Intercession and participate in a Spiritual Communion.

The Coronavirus page allows people to read pastoral letters from bishops, advice on what the virus means for Catholics, their parishes and their dioceses, and see what each government is requiring of its people.

If your diocese, organisation or agency has a website, podcast, YouTube channel or other resource you would like promoted, please send a brief description and the relevant link to [email protected].
