Mazenod College is one of Victoria's leading Catholic boys' secondary schools based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne with approximately 1400 students and 200 staff. Served by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate under the governance of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS), Mazenod is committed to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all students.
Mazenod College is seeking a creative and energetic educational leader for this key role at an exciting phase of its 54 year history. A dynamic and passionate educator with strong values and beliefs grounded in Catholic culture and principles, the new principal will work collaboratively with the De Mazenod community and the rector, Fr Harry Dyer OMI, to spearhead the ongoing development of the College with a continued emphasis on respectful relationships and visible wellbeing. The College’s provision of an excellent academic program and a wide range of co-curricular offerings and pathways has enabled students to participate creatively and successfully in the broader community. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader committed to innovative approaches to education.
The Principal will work collaboratively with the leadership team to ensure the pursuit of excellence in the intellectual, social, moral, spiritual and cultural development of each student according to his unique capacity.
