The Position
St John of God Subiaco Hospital is the oldest and biggest hospital in our group, having been established in 1898. With 600 beds, it is one of Australia’s most respected providers of health care services and an internationally renowned leader in clinical trials and research. SJG Subiaco Hospital is also a leader in innovation and adoption of new technologies, including the implementation of robotic surgical devices and virtual reality imaging technology. Our hospital is located in the heart of Subiaco close to stylish cafes, boutiques and with easy access to the train station.
SJG Subiaco Hospital are currently seeking an outstanding individual to support the leadership and culture of SJG Subiaco Hospital, through promotion and integration of the Mission and values of St John of God Health Care, in undertaking the role of Director of Mission Integration.
Reporting to the Hospital CEO and Group Director of Mission Integration (GDMI), you will be an exceptional leader, with strong executive, strategic and influencing skills, capable of providing collaborative and inclusive leadership that enables all senior leaders to embed Mission and values as part of their practice.
In working alongside leaders and managers you will help ensure that the Mission and values are an integral part of leadership practice. You will serve as a key operational advisor that can articulate patient care and experience that is informed by the Mission and values. Through your role, you will influence organisational culture, performance, patient experience and direction of the health service.
This position is being offered on a permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours a week.
The successful candidate will have:

Demonstrated capacity to articulate and integrate the Vision, Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care into everyday actions and behaviours.

As a practicing Catholic, possesses a demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Catholic faith.

Qualifications in Theology, Scripture, Ethics, Ministry or related studies.

Demonstrated ability to develop the leadership abilities of senior leaders and managers to align with, and promote, organisational mission, vision and values.

Demonstrated understanding and application of key theological principles to all aspects of Mission aligned leadership.

Demonstrated performance as a strategic and influential leader including the capacity to build collaborative relationships among senior leaders.

Demonstrated expertise in developing, presenting and facilitating Formation programs.
