About the role

Join a dynamic and passionate Community Engagement team at MacKillop Family Services, one of Australia’s leading child, youth, and family services agencies. As the Fundraising Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward by managing and growing our fundraising program.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy, you’ll lead a small, dedicated team in developing and executing innovative, multi-channel fundraising strategies. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by expanding our supporter base and ensuring the financial sustainability needed to support the vital work we do.

This is a Permanent Full-time opportunity based in South Melbourne, VIC within our Community Engagement program. The position reports to the Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience coordinating and project managing multi-channel appeals, including strategic use of mail, print, online and email communications across acquisition, growth and retention programs.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working in direct marketing within the not-for-profit sector and a track record of achieving performance targets.
  • Ability to work effectively with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, while also working collaboratively with colleagues and suppliers.
  • People leadership experience with the ability to mentor, coach and lead a small team (preferred).
