Director – Pastoral Ministries

The Catholic Diocese of Darwin is looking for a Director – Pastoral Ministries. We are a Diocese committed to reaching out to all, carrying out the call of Christ, embracing all. Our Diocese covers almost all of the Northern Territory (except for a small area run by the Port Pirie Diocese around Uluru where our Priests also minister). A large number of our Diocesan family are Aboriginal People (a quarter to a third of our Catholics are Aboriginal). We also have a very multicultural community of communities. We are committed to moving from maintenance to mission, a focus on formation, discipleship, parish renewal, and to the empowerment of all. The Director – Pastoral Ministries will need to be able to work in a synodical and collaborative manner, be a good manager, and be able to lead projects across the Diocese. This is a great opportunity to make a big difference in the lives of many in Christ.

Youth Ministry in Alice Springs

Diocese of Darwin is looking for a Minister to Youth, especially connecting with our Aboriginal young people in Alice Springs. It is a wonderful opportunity to minister in a challenging but very fulfilling environment walking with our young people. This will be undertaken within the Catholic Parish of Alice Springs.
