Job Description

The Emerging Futures Collaborative Limited (EFCL) is an innovative ministry established by a collaborative of Catholic Religious Institutes in Australia to address an emerging need in Australian religious life for transition and support services.

Community Co-ordinators (Melbourne) – 2 roles.

One – 8 hours per week – flexible and to increase over time.

One – 16 hours per week – flexible.

The Sisters of Our Lady of Sion and the Sisters of St Joseph of Cluny are both EFCL Service Partners.

EFCL seeks to appoint Community Co-ordinators to work with the Sisters of each congregation to provide practical, social and spiritual support and to undertake a range of co-ordinating and enabling functions.

These are roles of very special accompaniment and will suit candidates with strong pastoral and relational gifts who can ensure that the Sisters, individually and collectively, are supported to continue to live their religious life and mission and to assure their wellbeing.

Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator (Brisbane)

Part-time – 17 hours per week flexible (and with additional potential).

EFCL seeks to appoint a Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator to coordinate health and wellbeing care and support services to members of religious institutes in Brisbane – initially the Missionary Franciscan Sisters.

The major responsibility of this role is to provide health and wellbeing coordination that ensures that a comprehensive suite of care and support services are provided to each sister which enables her to live her life to the full and maintain her independence for as long as possible.

A health or allied health professional with experience in an aged or community care setting, a gentle collaborative style and a wellbeing focus will be especially suited to the role.
