About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the Property, Facilities and Fleet Manager (PFFM) is responsible for ensuring CatholicCare Sydney’s assets are managed and maintained to meet current and emerging needs of the organisation and the people it serves.
You will provide high quality advice to key stakeholders within the organisation and report regularly to the COO on matters pertaining to property, finance and risk. You will monitor and control leases and contracts as well as plan, negotiate and manager contract and lease renewals.
You will lead a small team of specialists, fostering a high-performance, customer-centred culture and ensuring the Property, Facilities and Fleet team is providing effective support for CatholicCare Sydney’s client facing delivery teams.
Undertaking this role in accordance with CatholicCare Sydney’s mission, Vision and Guiding Principles as well as fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, are key to this role.
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following Key Requirements:
- Experience in building services and/or asset management either in the not-for-profit or commercial sector
- Knowledge of and experience with ISO 41001 (Facility Management Standard)
- Demonstrated experience fostering high-performance teams and nurturing and building the capability of staff to deliver effective customer-centred support
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Good commercial and financial acumen
- An ability to create business cases or short papers for recommendation to key stakeholders
- Desirable is tertiary qualifications in Operations or Facilities Management, or an equivalent area of specialisation
- Driver’s Licence and own motor vehicle (for which a rate per km and tolls are paid)
This position is a full-time, ongoing role and is based in Lewisham. Travel will be required within the Sydney metro area.
