If you have expertise in risk management and a desire to contribute to the educational mission of Kildare Education Ministries, you’re invited to apply to join our Risk and Assurance Committee.

Kildare Education Ministries (KEM) Board is responsible to the Trustees of Kildare Ministries for the oversight of seven schools. Directors contribute to the education and wellbeing of 5,500 students, formation of 650 staff and for these schools, their activities and facilities.

KEM is committed to ensuring its Vision, Mission and Values are realised through good governance that supports the transformative power of education, underpinned by sound educational practice, and based on a rich Catholic and spiritual tradition. KEM schools provide an inclusive and socially just education.

One of the KEM Board’s four committees is the Risk and Assurance Committee, formed in Semester 1, 2024. We aim to appoint up to two additional members with relevant ability and experience to join this group, which helps the Board fulfil its governance responsibilities in regard to risk and assurance. The position is voluntary and involves four meetings per year.
