An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mission Partner Lead to join the team at Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd.

YOUR ROLE

The Mission Partner Lead is a strategic leadership role focused on driving innovative and comprehensive faith formation across MACS schools. You will lead the implementation of the MACS Faith Formation Framework, forge strong school-parish partnerships, and ensure all faith formation programs are responsive to system needs, grounded in Catholic tradition, and aligned with MACS 2030 strategic priorities. This role also oversees a high-performing team and collaborates widely to uplift Catholic mission and identity in school communities across the Archdiocese.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You will lead the strategic design and delivery of faith formation initiatives across all MACS cohorts, aligned with system priorities.
  • You will guide the implementation of the MACS Faith Formation Framework and develop partnerships with schools and parishes through “Working Together in Mission.”
  • You will lead a team of faith formation professionals, providing direction, mentorship, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-informed program delivery.
  • You will use data and research to evaluate impact, refine strategies, and inform tailored school improvement planning.
  • You will collaborate with external experts and internal partners to embed innovative evangelisation and change management practices.
  • You will contribute to the design of liturgical and sacramental resources in collaboration with diocesan and parish stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU

  • You are an experienced leader in Catholic education with a proven ability to design and implement faith formation programs that engage diverse audiences.
  • You have a strong understanding of Catholic teaching, sacraments, and traditions, and can translate them into inspiring, contemporary formation strategies.
  • You bring expertise in coaching teams, building stakeholder relationships, and managing complex change across systems.
  • You are a strategic thinker who uses evidence and data to shape impactful programs and guide decision-making.
  • You are collaborative, adaptable, and committed to the vision of forming thriving discipleship communities across MACS.
