Salesian College Chadstone is seeking a dynamic and faith filled leader to join our College Leadership Team as Assistant Principal – Faith, People and Culture. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the Catholic ethos of the College is upheld, animated, and further developed in the spirit of Don Bosco.
The Assistant Principal will play a vital role in the faith formation of staff and students, embedding the vision, mission and values of the College into all aspects of school life. In addition, the role provides leadership in staff professional learning, performance, wellbeing, and human resource functions, ensuring a thriving and supportive culture for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Animate and promote the Catholic faith within the College community through the ongoing formation of staff and students.
- Nurture and promote the Salesian charism of education as outlined in the writings of St John Bosco.
- Lead and oversee human resource functions including professional learning, staff performance, feedback, and wellbeing.
- Align staff culture and practices with the College’s vision, mission, and values.
- Oversee the design and implementation of staff formation and professional learning programs.
- Collaborate with the Principal in the pastoral care of staff, students, and families.
- Actively contribute as a member of the College Leadership Team.
