About the role:

Operating within Campus Ministry, located at ACU’s North Sydney campus, as the Campus Pastoral Associate (Staff) you’ll minister on a day-to-day basis to staff. Your role is to ensure vibrant, relevant, consistent campus ministry delivery to staff both on campus and virtually, enriching the religious and spiritual lives of ACU staff of all denominations and faiths through liturgy, retreats, conversation, mentoring, education and pastoral care in the Catholic tradition. You’ll collaborate with the Associate Director, Mission & Ministry and through them, the Vice President, in implementing the vision for Campus Ministry which enhances the spiritual, faith formation and mission engagement of staff, supports a rich liturgical life on campus and furthers the university’s mission.

What we offer:

• The University pursues an excellence agenda and offers an environment where staff are welcomed and safe, and valued through development, participation and involvement.
• Total remuneration valued to $106,366 – $114,254 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $89,881 – $96,546 (pro rata) pa (HEW 6), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 3% salary increase will be effective from the beginning of the first full pay period commencing on or after 1st January 2025.
• 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
• Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks’ salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
