Job Description

The National Director of Marist Schools Australia (MSA), Dr Frank Malloy, invites suitably qualified and experienced leaders in Catholic education to apply for one of two positions as Deputy Head of St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill.

Each Deputy Head of College will have specific areas of oversight for strategy and operations. One Deputy will be identified as holding second level responsibility in the College, importantly assuming the delegated authority to act as Head of College in their absence.

Marist Schools Australia is seeking highly successful and energetic leaders who are committed to the ongoing expression of Marist spirituality, pedagogy and tradition within the vibrant and extensive Joeys community. Proven expertise and accomplishment in collaboratively leading contemporary faith formation, delivering high quality, innovative learning and teaching outcomes, as well as the provision of positive, engaging and challenging school experiences for young men, are requisites for this position. The Deputy Head of College position offers a unique and exciting opportunity to build on the outstanding traditions of one of Australia’s leading Catholic schools.

Applications are invited from Catholic educators with the willingness and capacity to work in partnership with the Head of College to develop a clear vision for the Joeys graduate and to enhance the life-giving dynamism engendered through the holistic education offered at St Joseph’s College.
