We’re looking for a passionate, energetic Digital Marketing Manager who is keen to put their gifts and talents to work to help design and deliver inspiring social media and digital campaigns that encourage supporters to contribute to the incredible work of our mission partners in Australia and overseas.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Digital Marketing Manager is a fixed-term opportunity to help lead Catholic Mission’s digital presence during a period of parental leave. This position plays a key part in shaping how Catholic Mission engages and connects with audiences across its digital channels.
In this role, you will provide strategic oversight and delivery across Catholic Mission’s digital channels, including social media, website, digital advertising, and email marketing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of contemporary digital marketing tools and the ability to plan and implement integrated digital strategies, oversee channel performance, and guide campaigns from concept through to execution to grow reach, engagement, and impact.
Working closely with internal teams, and external stakeholders, you will collaborate to translate mission priorities into effective digital activity. You will also be an active contributor within the Communications and Digital Team as it evolves and strives to meet the needs of our mission partners and projects.

- Essential Credentials:
- Tertiary qualifications in communications and/or digital marketing are vital for success in this role.
- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in digital marketing, including delivery of multi-channel campaigns across paid advertising, email, social media, content, and web platforms.
- Strong digital marketing strategy capability, including planning, executing, and optimising integrated digital campaigns aligned to organisational objectives.
- Awareness of current social media trends and a willingness to keep up to date with latest news, tools, applications and social media best practices and technologies, and relevant legislation.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar, including audience segmentation, journeys, and performance optimisation.
- Proven experience managing digital advertising, including Google Ads (paid and grant), Meta advertising, and display campaigns, with a focus on performance, optimisation, and return on investment.
- Demonstrated experience working with web development and graphic design in optimising social media and marketing campaigns.
- High level capability in data and analytics, including Google Analytics, conversion tracking, and reporting on digital performance to inform decision-making.
- Strong content and creative oversight skills, including briefing, reviewing, and optimising digital content (copy, imagery, video, and design) for use across digital channels.
- Experience managing and optimising websites and digital platforms, including CMS environments such as WordPress and fundraising or eCommerce platforms
