About the Role
We are seeking an Executive Director to lead our educational system within the Archdiocese. Reporting to the Board, the Executive Director will ensure the system and our schools exemplify the mission of the Catholic Church and provide exceptional education. The ideal candidate will have a profound commitment to the Church’s evangelising mission and the not-for-profit sector, deep commitment to the Catholic faith and Catholic social teaching, together with active parish involvement. They should be an inspirational leader with highly developed and demonstrated empathic skills, the capacity to articulate the Catholic understanding of the transformative power of education, and a proven ability to advance organisational strategy and achieve significant outcomes.
Key Requirements
Key requirements include exceptional relational proficiency, experience in working in a mission driven context, strong strategic leadership, experience in working with a Board to develop systems infrastructure, and a compliance-focused approach to meet regulatory requirements. The candidate must have excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to build strong relationships with various collaborators and partners.
The successful candidate will communicate and implement the evangelising vision of the Archdiocese for Catholic education and demonstrate the ability to drive results and foster innovation.
