 About La Salle District Centre
A Lasallian District is a geographically defined region within the global network of the Institute of the Brothers of the Catholic Schools (De La Salle Brothers). The ANZPPNG District is responsible for the promotion and facilitation of the Lasallian Mission within Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Papua New Guinea.
About the role
A unique opportunity to join this established Catholic organisation as it transitions from a religious-led to a lay-led employment entity. You will be an accomplished values driven senior executive with strong financial acumen, transformation and organisational change experience.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
·       Provide authentic values-based leadership to all staff and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of engagement, wellbeing, retention, development and performance.
·       Provide the religious head (Brother Visitor) with the assistance needed to fulfill functions associated with Brothers life, Sectors, Healthcare / aged care, and Regional liaison.
·       Work closely with the District Council, Mission Council, Economic Council and the Safeguarding Committees on the development and advancement of strategies and priorities.
·       Identify, develop and present proposals to the Trustees and/or the Committees about new or revised opportunities to better promote or enhance all aspects of organisational performance, service or program delivery.
·       Ensure the design, timely implementation and regular review and improvement of programs aligned to organisational strategies, priorities and Mission across all ministries.
·       Ensure the establishment and promotion of, and community engagement with faith-based activities and programs throughout the District.
·       Ensure the promotion, understanding and delivery of Lasallian formation programs that articulate: an integrated approach to the activities of the mission; the experience of association; and the creation of a community empowered by the Lasallian charism.
·       Ensure the design, development and resource delivery of programs and activities that fulfill the intentions of the District leadership (Brother Visitor, Councils and Committees).
·       Ensure effective governance and financial structures for the sustainability of the mission and fulfilling the function of District Bursar
·       Oversee the establishment of programs and initiatives that will protect the Religious Order and its people, including compliance with and response to the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards, National Redress System and National Response Protocol.
About you
This role would suit a dynamic and motivated leader that has a proven track record engaging diverse stakeholders, ideally within a faith-based, NFP or public sector framework.
The successful candidate will have the following key skills and experience:
·     Strong demonstrated stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Boards, Council’s and/or Committee’s on the development and implementation of strategic plans and priorities.
·     Strong experience in managing the delivery of a community strategic goals and priorities across and through a diverse faith-based and community focused organisation.
·     Demonstrated senior management experience and a track record of achievement in organisational change management.
·     Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation, Frameworks, Performance Indicators, National Redress Scheme and Safeguarding Standards.
·     Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of a values-based culture.
·     Strong demonstrated experience in the provision of sound leadership, and the development of a positive and collaborative approach in all aspects of work.
·     Relevant tertiary qualifications and relevant senior management experience.
