The Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools (DLCS) provides a range of services to support approximately 3,500 staff in 45 vibrant and dynamic Catholic school communities that serve more than 18,000 students. The DLCS assists schools to build teaching and leadership capabilities in communities of professional educators who share responsibility for school improvement and for achieving the best outcomes for our students.

General Manager, Learning & School Support
Location: Tweed Heads NSW, Lismore NSW, Coffs Harbour NSW or Port Macquarie NSW
Tenure: Full-time, 5-year recurring contract. Commencing August 2026.

Position Purpose:
The General Manager, Learning and School Support leads the Diocese’s specialist capability in learning and teaching, ensuring schools have access to high-quality, evidence-informed support when and where it is needed. Working in close partnership with Regional Assistant Directors and School Services Partners, the role translates school-level insights into tailored programs and strategies that strengthen teacher practice and improve student outcomes.
The General Manager provides strategic direction to ensure that specialist expertise, including Inclusion, School Improvement, Learning & Teaching, Digital Technology, and Vocational Education, is responsive, coherent, and aligned with Diocesan priorities.
As a leader, this role is dedicated to the Mission of Catholic Education, delivering services that empower students to achieve the fullness of life.
About You:
You will bring proven executive-level leadership experience within large, complex organisations with a record of delivering high-level outcomes in learning strategy and educational development. You are a strategic thinker who can clearly articulate direction, build the path to delivery, and demonstrate evidence of sustained improvement achieved through your leadership and a partnering approach to your work.
