About you
You will have a genuine desire to support the mission of the Little Sisters of the Poor and to work collaboratively and collegially with others.
Specifically, as the ideal candidate for this role, you will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience
- Experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within aged care, community services, or the not‑for‑profit sector
- Strong knowledge of workplace legislation, including the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and experience interpreting workplace legislation and industrial instruments
- Experience providing advice and coaching to managers on HR matters, including performance and conduct issues, grievances, return-to-work and workforce planning
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others
- Highly developed administrative, time management and organisational skills and demonstrated ability to manage competing demands and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of HR information systems
- High standards of professional integrity and confidentiality.
