Why this role?
We are seeking a warm, capable, and experienced HR Coordinator to support managers and teams across the Institute with everything from recruitment to policy advice, people development, and process improvement. Working in partnership with the HR Manager, you will provide trusted support that helps maintain a safe, respectful, and values-driven workplace.

What you’ll be doing:
- Providing day-to-day HR guidance to managers and staff across multiple ministries
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and contract processes
- Coordinating learning, development, and wellbeing initiatives
- Helping shape workplace culture and WHS practices
- Working closely with our outsourced payroll provider to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Contributing to projects, performance reviews, reporting, and policy updates
What you’ll bring:
- Generalist HR experience and strong people instincts
- Experience with the SCHADS (Home Care) Award valued
- A warm, approachable style with the ability to build trust quickly
- Confidence handling employment matters with discretion and professionalism
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently but collaboratively
