posted 1 day ago in GovernanceJob Description
Be part of a story of hope, justice and compassion.
Kildare Ministries is seeking new Trustees to join our faith-driven governance body.
Founded in 2014 by the Brigidine Sisters and Presentation Sisters Victoria, Kildare Ministries continues a proud tradition of Catholic education and community service. Today we serve over 9,000 students and staff in 10 schools across four States, and also in three community works in Victoria which support refugees and newly arrived asylum seekers, and provide affordable retreat spaces for those in need.
As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the mission, narrative and future of Kildare Ministries. You will join a collegial, experienced and talented team of educational and social service leaders, who guide with integrity, give expression to our values of Wonder, Courage, Hospitality, Hope, Compassion and Justice, and ensure we continue to respond faithfully and creatively to the needs of our time.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is inspired by the vision and values of Kildare Ministries and an affinity with its founding stories
- Has senior leadership and governance experience in education and/or community services and/or not-for-profit board level experience
- Brings wisdom, insight and faith to our shared formation journey with a willingness to engage in on-going faith formation
- Can contribute to strong missional governance, financial stewardship and a sustainable strategic future through contemporary civil governance knowledge
- Wants to make a real difference in the lives of the vulnerable and marginalised
Why join us?
This is more than a governance role. It’s an opportunity to:
- Contribute to a thriving MPJP within the Catholic Church
- Support schools and community works that transform lives every day
- Be part of a collaborative, mission-focused and high performing team of faithful stewards making lasting impact
- Share your governance gifts in service of a future marked by compassion, justice and hope.
