About the role:

Operating within National School of Theology, the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Theology will provide academic expertise in the Faculty of Theology and Philosophy to ensure excellence in teaching and learning within Catholic systematic theology and undertake and lead research in this field. It is expected that the appointee to this position will contribute to the mission of the faculty and university through teaching, research, academic administration, curriculum development, program coordination, and working collaboratively across the faculty and the university and with external partners.

What we offer:

  • The University pursues an excellence agenda and offers an environment where staff are welcomed and safe, and valued through development, participation and involvement.
  • Total remuneration valued to $138,750 – $163,685 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $117,246 – $138,429 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. Total remuneration valued to $173,601 – $188,476 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $146,904 – $159,618 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level C), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 2.8% increase will be effective from the beginning of the last full pay period before 30 June 2025.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks’ salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
