Your Role

An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Catholic Education Office in the position of Manager – School Performance. This is a full-time position, commencing from January 2025, or as negotiated with the successful applicant.

We are seeking a dynamic educator with a passion for data analytics to build the capacity of system and school leaders to achieve strong student growth and improvement. As the Manager – School Performance, you will lead initiatives to enhance school and student outcomes aligning with Catholic culture and identity. Collaborating with the Assistant Director: Schools, you will drive the implementation of strategic plans, utilise data analytics to inform decision-making and improve performance.

Your role includes supporting leaders with performance planning, developing communities of practice and managing staff training and development functions. You will also oversee the optimal use of critical system applications and data reporting to achieve strategic goals.

The role presents a wonderful opportunity for a committed educator to influence school performance and improvement across Catholic Education, and to provide support that can positively impact the expertise of leaders and the educational experience of students. The role has a significant focus on working with school teams to identify needs, strategise for improvement and monitor and evaluate the impact of actions.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner, including some travel to schools within the Diocese.
