The National Director of Marist Schools Australia invites applications for the position of Regional Director for New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, operating from the Marist Centre in Sydney. Marist Schools Australia brings together a family of 58 Catholic schools which draw on Marist spirituality and Marist educational practice that shapes their identity and enlivens their mission of evangelisation through Catholic education.
Marist Schools Australia provides governance, leadership, and faith formation opportunities from three Regional Offices (in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane).
The Regional Director (NSW/ACT) will have particular care of 24 schools, six of which involve direct governance responsibilities. They will also contribute nationally to MSA according to expertise and need. Proven successful Catholic school leadership experience is an essential component of the selection criteria. A five year contract applies to the position. A salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications will be negotiated.
