Emerging Futures Collaborative Limited (EFCL) is a not-for-profit organisation, established to support and serve Catholic Religious Institutes in transition across Australia.

EFCL’s services to Religious Institutes include transition support, health and well-being coordination, administration, and community coordination. EFCL assists Religious Institutes in navigating change while also honouring their legacy and mission.
About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Director and working collaboratively with others, you will play a key role in planning and oversighting organisational operations, systems and processes, including HR, IT, risk, compliance, and administration to support efficient and effective service delivery to Religious Institutes (known as our “Service Partners”).
With your extensive knowledge and experience in operations, you will support the Executive Director with planning, workflow, resource coordination, reporting, and operational improvement initiatives to strengthen whole-of-organisation practice.
You will provide service delivery support to colleagues, including the Service Relationships Managers and local Business Managers, to help ensure consistent, timely and professional service delivery to Service Partners. You will support engagement and mission activities by ensuring the required administrative, logistical and systems support is in place.
Using your excellent written communication and problem-solving skills, you will develop practical templates, checklists and process guides to support consistency of practice, prepare reports, papers, briefings and updates as requested by the Executive Director, and contribute to the regular review of EFCL policies and procedures.
The role is a permanent part-time role, 22.8 hours a week, to be worked over three or four days. Some flexibility exists with regards to the days and daily hours to be worked, and the specific days/hours will be discussed and agreed on with the successful candidate prior to commencement of employment.
The successful candidate will work from home and ideally be based in Sydney. Interstate and intrastate travel to attend meetings with Service Partners and EFCL colleagues will be required from time to time.
About You

Specifically, as the ideal candidate for this role, you will meet the following Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience coordinating operations, administration, systems or business support in a complex service environment
- Strong understanding of risk, compliance, WHS, safeguarding, policy implementation and quality improvement principles
- Demonstrated ability to design, document and improve practical systems and processes
- High-level organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong written communication skills, including skills in preparing procedures, reports, briefing notes and correspondence
- Competence with Microsoft 365, online collaboration tools, records systems, HR and compliance platforms such as Employment Hero
- Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured and roadworthy motor vehicle.
While not essential, experience in client-focussed, not-for-profit, community services, or mission-based environments will be well-regarded.
