The Dominican Sisters are seeking a Pastoral Carer who will provide compassionate support and advocacy for the sisters, collectively and individually, living in Sydney, to enable them to continue to live out their mission, whether they are in residential care, assisted living or living independently.
This is a permanent part-time role nurturing a faith-filled, person-centred care that reflects Gospel values and the charism of the Dominican Order. This role will support the sisters in their spiritual needs while promoting their overall well-being.
Relevant qualifications in Pastoral Care, (CPE or equivalent), Theology and/or Spirituality or counselling are essential.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
Further requirements:
- Unrestricted right to work in Australia
- Current National Criminal History check
- Current Flu and Covid Immunisation
- Current Driver’s license
- Well-developed interpersonal skills within a team environment
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication

Salary and Conditions of employment will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
