Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
Mercy Place Mont Clare offers care to 73 residents and Mercy Place Lathlain offers care to 64 residents with various levels of care needs. The role forms part of the large team of care staff, hospitality, lifestyle, allied heath and clinical specialists who ensure the needs, including spiritual, of all our residents are met.
The successful applicant will deliver high quality pastoral care for residents, families and staff, while promoting a contemporary understanding of pastoral and spiritual care. As the Pastoral Carer you will work with residents to provide support and respond effectively to their diverse spiritual and religious needs.

ABOUT YOU
*   At least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education or other relevant qualification
*   Theological and/or other relevant graduate qualifications
*   Proficient computer skills

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements.
  • Provide a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check (Mercy Health may conduct additional background checks subject to current legislation).
  • Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders and with Mercy Health’s policy (includes but is not limited to COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement).
