ABOUT THE ROLE
St Agnes’ Catholic Parish are seeking a Pastoral & Spiritual Care Team Member to join the team. As a Pastoral & Spiritual Care team member, you will provide specialist pastoral and spiritual care services across our Residential & Homecare services to our residents, clients, families and staff.
You will be joining a dynamic team where the pastoral and spiritual care we provide is the point of difference between our aged care and other providers.
You will be responsible for ensuring the diverse pastoral, spiritual, religious and emotional needs of our most vulnerable people, are identified and responded to with compassion, sensitivity, knowledge and skill.
The position will be offered to the successful applicant as a Permanent Part -Time position of up to 48hrs hours a fortnight.Â

WHO YOU AREÂ
- Accredited Eucharistic minister (Desirable) or willing to obtain
- Relevant tertiary qualification/s in Theology, Spirituality or Pastoral Care (Desirable) or willing to undertake appropriate Pastoral Related studies
- Demonstrated experience in a pastoral capacity within the health, education, or community related sectors (Desirable).
- Deep understanding of the Catholic faith and a commitment to work in harmony with its values and principles
- Ability to work within a Person-Centred Philosophy
- Willing to undertake appropriate pastoral related studies
- Understanding of the spiritual and pastoral needs of the older person
- An energetic, positive attitude with a genuine interest in and compassion for people
- Must be available to work flexible hours and additional hours if required
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team
- NDIS Worker Check & police check or the ability to obtain one
