    This position holds a permanent Teaching position within the Cairns Diocese
  • Employment Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract
  • Salary Range: Paid in accordance with the Cairns Principals Agreement

About Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School is located in the beautiful Torres Straits with two campuses on Thursday Island and Hammond Island.  Our Thursday Island Campus caters for Prep to Year 6, while our Hammond Island campus is for Prep to Year 3 with older students catching a daily ferry to the TI campus. We celebrate our remote location and Indigenous culture. The faith, life and values of the people of the Torres Strait are acknowledged through our learning environment.
