YOUR ROLE
The Project Lead is a pivotal leadership role within the Catholic Mission and Identity (CMI) directorate, established to oversee the successful planning and delivery of strategic initiatives that enhance faith formation and Religious Education across Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS). In this role, you will lead a team of Project Officers and collaborate across departments to ensure projects are executed effectively, on time, and in alignment with MACS 2030 and the broader mission of Catholic education. With a focus on excellence, innovation, and collaboration, you will drive initiatives that contribute to the flourishing of Catholic identity in MACS schools. This position is ideal for an experienced project manager with strong interpersonal, planning, and leadership skills who thrives in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and manage a team of Project Officers to deliver faith formation and Religious Education initiatives.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate across MACS to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and program alignment with MACS 2030.
- Oversee the evaluation and reporting of project outcomes, utilising data and evidence to inform continuous improvement.
- Facilitate partnerships with internal and external experts to ensure quality and impact across all projects.
- Provide high-level support to CMI leadership through reporting, team coordination, and strategic input.
ABOUT YOU
- You are an experienced project leader with a strong background in education, faith formation, or organisational development.
- You bring excellent planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, and thrive in team-based environments.
- You have a deep understanding of Catholic education and are motivated to support its mission through practical, high-impact work.
- You are confident managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and excel at adapting to evolving priorities.
- You value collaboration, integrity, and service, and you are passionate about making a meaningful contribution to Catholic identity and mission.
