Job Description

CDPF Limited is seeking a part-time Project Officer to provide vital administrative support to the Manager and Board of CDPF Limited, ensuring Catholic Development Funds (CDFs) operate within regulatory and prudential requirements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, collaborative team, excels in compliance monitoring, and enjoys managing key documentation and stakeholder communications.

$44,000 per annum inclusive of superannuation.  Part-time (2 days per week).

 

The Role

  • Prepare, collate, and distribute meeting agendas, reports, and minutes for the Manager and Board.
  • Monitor and track compliance with CDF certificate submissions and reporting deadlines.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of reporting dashboards
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for CDPF staff and Directors.
  • Facilitate communication with CDFs on regulatory risk and governance matters.
  • Develop and manage documentation within a central repository to support CDFs.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver governance and compliance outcomes.
  • Support the facilitation of working groups within CDPF Limited.
  • Manage internal SharePoint system and record-keeping to ensure secure, organised documentation.

 

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably supporting senior executives or boards.
  • Strong Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, and Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent written, oral, and electronic communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a small, collaborative team.
  • Experience in compliance monitoring, reporting, or document management.
  • Flexible availability to align with board meetings and deadlines.
  • A Diploma and/or experience in finance, banking, or a relevant field is desirable.
  • Understanding of or willingness to work within the mission of the Catholic Church.

CDFs are currently exempted by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) from compliance with the Banking Act 1959 subject to complying with conditions imposed by APRA and by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) from compliance with the Corporations Act subject to complying with conditions imposed by ASIC.

 

CDPF Limited is approved by ASIC as the sponsor of the 22 Australian CDFs.
