Role for a Religious at Emerging Futures Collaborative Ltd (EFCL) (NSW)
posted 5 days ago in MissionJob Description
Emerging Futures Collaborative Ltd (EFCL) is a ministry by and for Religious Institutes in Australia, established to provide transition support, governance, and ongoing services to Institutes moving towards completion. EFCL’s service model enables Religious Institutes and their members to continue living their charism and religious community life, as they wish, until the last member in Australia.
The Role
EFCL is seeking a religious to contribute to this ministry. The position is offered flexibly for two to four days per week, working from home and engaging with Institutes at their premises. Some interstate travel is required.
The primary focus of the role is to lead Charism Animation at EFCL, fostering understanding and appreciation of religious life and of the specific Charisms that inspire our service partners. Ideally, the successful candidate will:
•Interface with members of Religious Institutes across Australia
•Communicate the history, mission, values, ministries, services and activities of EFCL to religious and their collaborators
•Promote the vitality of consecrated life by providing resources, engaging international speakers, and assisting in the planning and delivery of workshops and events.
This position would suit a religious with broad experience across Religious Institutes and the ability to engage effectively with leadership teams, canonical delegates, and community members of our service partners. A deep understanding of the unique landscape of religious life in Australia is essential, including:
•The desire of Institutes to live their community life in their own identity and traditions until the last member
•The grief and transition associated with coming to completion
•The role of EFCL in providing pathways to alternate canonical governance.
The role reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the management team and other ministry partners including Board and sub-committees Members.
