Job Description

About Us

Emerging Futures Collaborative Limited (EFCL) is a mission-driven social enterprise providing ongoing administrative and support services to Catholic religious congregations and their members (clients) who are moving towards completion or who need support. EFCL is led by a small core team of experienced staff who are designing, building and operating this new and innovative service as it grows.

As a ministry of Religious Institutes in Australia, mission is at the heart of the purpose of EFCL. Our client services include congregational business management, care and wellbeing coordination, community coordination, archives, and professional standards. These services are offered, and decisions made, through a mission lens and requires an appreciation of the values of the Catholic Church and a willingness to implement and give expression to those values.

We are now seeking a seasoned leader for the role of Shared Services Manager with experience in a service delivery or operations management role to join our core team and to lead the creation and provision of ongoing client services.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Director, the role of Shared Services Manager will join the core team and work closely with third-party contractors who will be responsible for delivering our services and ensuring ongoing service delivery requirements are met.

You will tailor the delivery of those services to meet our client’s requirements and establish the necessary policies, frameworks and processes that support the delivery of services. As the need arises, you will scale up the effectiveness of those services in response to our client’s needs.

You will be self-directed, comfortable with working on both big-picture issues and hands-on day-to-day detail. Taking the initiative to ensure the delivery of cost-effective outcomes, on-time is key to this role.

You will be part of a core team of professionals, so you will enjoy working in a flat structure with a strong focus on delivering responsive, quality, client service in an efficient way.

This position is an ongoing full-time role, and you will be working remotely from home. As EFCL clients are located Australia-wide, you will be required to travel locally, intrastate and interstate. An attractive remuneration is being offered. A NSW Driver’s Licence and own motor vehicle (for which a rate per km and tolls are paid) will be required.

About You

This role will suit someone who has senior-level experience in service delivery or operations management in a social services, health, community, aged care or similar environment.

Specifically, as the ideal candidate for this role, you will meet the following Key Requirements:

  • Appreciation for and alignment with the values of Catholic religious congregations
  • Experience designing and implementing systems and processes for service delivery
  • Resource planning and contract management to ensure delivery of agreed outcomes at agreed service levels and within budget
  • Being action oriented and accountable to achieve results in line with set timeframes
